The final date for the Gymnastics Foundation course will be Wednesday, December 23rd. The morning will be the final module of the course starting at 9am. All coaches who took the course at the start of September need to take this module to complete their training. All coaches need to be 15 on the final day of the course (December 23rd) to get credit for the training.
In the afternoon, the LF will complete evaluations for those wishing to become certified. Preference will be given to coaches from further away on this date as he can arrange evaluations for other coaches more easily.
The cost of the course in the morning is $15.
The cost of the evaluation is $50. This includes the time to review the workbook as well as the evaluation itself. All coaches who wish to be certified need to submit their workbook to CJ by December 11th AT THE LATEST. Please keep in mind the recommendation from Gymnastics Canada that coaches under 16 (and possibly under 18) not become certified as this is an adult program and youths with adult training may be treated as adults in the event of any legal issues.
Coaches who have taken the GF course in previous years but were not certified may register to be evaluated on this day as well.
